I had to pay for return shipping, which didn’t feel great. I get that businesses have policies, but it seems like basic fairness to make returns a little easier for customers, especially when someone is just trying to send something back in good faith...

I was frustrated with how long the refund took. I had to follow up twice just to get it moving... which felt unnecessary. It did come through eventually, but the whole process could’ve been a lot smoother.

I managed to find an old edition here that I couldn’t track down anywhere else. The price was decent, not amazing but fair, and the shipping took a little longer than I expected. Still, I’m happy I ordered it and got the book I wanted. So yeah.

I ordered a book from Ergodebooks and it showed up in good shape. No bent corners or anything weird. The price was fair too, which is mostly what I was looking for. Shipping wasn’t super fast, took a little while, but not a big deal. Everything arrived fine. I’d order from them again.

The book I got was the same one shown in the listing, which is really all you can ask for. The condition was about what I expected too. Shipping took a bit longer than I would’ve liked, but the right item showed up and there weren’t any mix-ups, so I’m satisfied.

I was just trying to find my textbooks without spending way too much, and the prices here were good. The books were cheap and definitely worth it… I mean, for textbooks, that’s kind of all I was hoping for.

I found a few good deals, but some items were definitely more expensive than I expected. It makes me wonder if the “discounts” are really that great, so I’d probably double-check prices elsewhere before buying.

I ordered a used book that was listed as “very good,” and it was mostly fine, but there was more underlining and more bent pages than I was expecting lol. It’s still totally readable, just not quite the condition I had in mind.
The shipping was fine and nothing major went wrong, so I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience. I just think the condition rating was a little generous — not terrible, but not great either...

"Book was missing and support just dragged it out"
My order arrived, but one of the books wasn’t in the package. I emailed right away with the details, and after waiting a while, they replied asking for the same information I had already sent, which made it feel like nobody had really looked at my message.
Since then, it’s mostly been me waiting around with no clear answer, no replacement, and no refund. Maybe it was just a packing mistake, but the way they handled it made it seem like they were hoping I’d just drop it. Frustrating for something that should’ve been easy to fix, and I don’t see myself ordering from ergodebooks again

I ordered this book because it was listed as being in very good condition, but when it arrived, it had a lot of highlighting, bent pages, and even a different cover than the one shown. To be fair, it’s still readable, but the description definitely made it sound much nicer than it actually was. It was frustrating, i don’t think I’d order again.

I did get my book in the end, so I guess it worked out, but it felt like I was the one stuck waiting and trying to figure out what was going on. Shipping took longer than I expected, and the tracking wasn’t very helpful, which made it more frustrating than it needed to be. The price was decent, so I’ll give them that. They seem reliable enough, but my order definitely wasn’t as smooth as I hoped.

I ordered a used book from Ergodebooks and felt relieved when it shipped out quickly. The tracking didn’t update right away, which made me a little nervous at first, but after about a day it finally showed movement.
The package got here in a reasonable amount of time, and the book matched the description. There was a bit of wear on the cover, but nothing upsetting or unexpected for a used book.
I’m taking off one star just because the slow tracking update had me wondering what was going on for a bit. Other than that, I was happy with the order and would probably buy from them again.

The book itself was a good price, and when I checked the receipt email, the shipping cost didn’t seem too bad either. I do wish the slower delivery option had been a little cheaper, but overall it felt fair enough.

I had a easy time with Ergode Books, which is more than I can say for a lot of other sites that somehow make ordering a book feel like a guessing game.
They actually emailed me about my order and shipping in plain, simple language. No ridiculous vague messages, no leaving me wondering where my stuff was, and no nonsense that makes you feel like it is your fault for not understanding.
Everything went smoothly, and I appreciate that. If other companies would stop being so careless with communication, this kind of experience would not feel so rare. 5 stars from me.

I haven’t actually ordered from ergodebooks myself, so I don’t want to make it sound like I’ve had a firsthand experience. But from the feedback I’ve come across, they seem solid overall, prices look fair, shipping sounds reasonable, and most buyers seem satisfied. I’d probably consider trying them for used books, though I’d still double-check the condition notes before ordering.

"My book showed up damaged, and getting help was a headache"
I was actually excited when the book finally arrived, but as soon as I opened the package, I could tell something was off. The cover and pages were bent up like it had been tossed around with no care at all. I figured it would be a quick fix to contact support and get it sorted out, but that turned into its own frustrating little ordeal. Instead of making the return simple, they made the whole process feel like a hassle. By the end of it, I was more annoyed than anything. I really don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again
